This five-day journey offers a seamless transition from the plains to the rugged heights and rushing waters of Uttarakhand. The expedition begins with a scenic drive to Mussoorie, the "Queen of the Hills," which serves as the gateway to the wilderness. From here, the adventure shifts toward the Nag Tibba range, where the group navigates a stone-laid forest trail starting from Panthwari. Passing through the sustainable retreat of Goat Village, trekkers ascend to Khatian for an immersive night of camping under the stars, bridging the gap between rural mountain life and the raw beauty of the high ridges.
The middle of the journey is marked by the summit push to Nag Tibba Top, the highest peak in the region. Reaching the summit reveals a breathtaking 180-degree panorama of the Greater Himalayas, including the snow-draped profiles of Bandarpoonch and Kedarnath. After descending from the quiet majesty of the peaks, the itinerary shifts its focus to heritage and adrenaline. A morning is dedicated to exploring the architectural and scenic marvels of Mussoorie before the group travels to Rishikesh to trade the silence of the mountains for the roar of the river.
The expedition culminates in a high-energy white-water rafting run from Shivpuri to Rishikesh. Navigating the legendary rapids of the Ganges provides a thrilling finale to the trip, offering a physical challenge that perfectly complements the endurance of the trek. After a final lunch by the river, the trip ends, concluding a comprehensive journey that balances serene mountain vistas with world-class adventure sports.
